1 / I would like to schedule an appointment, what should I do?

Contact us! You can fill out the contact form or email thrivespeechco@gmail.com to schedule your free consultation call.

2 / Do I need a referral from a doctor for speech and language services?

No, a doctor’s referral is not required. Anyone with speech or language concerns can contact us to receive our speech and language therapy services.

3 / Do you have a wait list?

No, we currently have no wait list and are accepting new clients!

4 / What payments do you accept?

We currently only accept e-transfer for all payments. You will receive an invoice and receipt of payment so that you can make an insurance claim through your extended health insurance.

5 / Can I use my health insurance to pay for your services?

Yes, various extended health plans include speech and language therapy as a benefit. Thrive Speech and Language Co. cannot direct bill to your insurance company, but you can submit your invoice for reimbursement. Every plan is different, so please check with your insurance provider for your coverage details.

6 / How long is each session?

Assessment sessions are 45 minutes in length. Therapy sessions are 30, 45, or 60 minutes long. This will be discussed and agreed upon following your assessment session.

7 / How many sessions will I need?

As everyone's needs and concerns are different, the amount and length of sessions will vary. Your SLP will be discuss this with you following the consultation and assessment sessions.

8 / Where do the sessions take place?

Thrive Speech and Language Co. offers in home services in Vancouver, B.C., and virtually to clients who live throughout the province to suit our clients needs. Please note that we don't have a physical clinic space.
